Eric Scott AI LLC
App privacy
Effective September 3, 2026. Operator: Eric Scott AI LLC. App: Fade version 0.1.0, bundle com.ericscottai.fade.
What this version does with data
Fade 0.1.0 stores meal photos, meal logs, and daily goals on this device using local storage. The app does not upload meal photos. The app does not create an account. The app does not send nutrition logs to our servers.
What a scan is in 0.1.0
Camera and photo-library access are used so you can snap or pick a plate. The app then shows a labelled DEMO ESTIMATE · NOT LIVE AI. That estimate is a local demo (a grilled chicken bowl you can edit), not visual food recognition and not a USDA FoodData Central lookup. You review and edit food name, grams, oil, sauce, calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and sugar before anything is logged. Unknown sugar stays 0 until you enter it.
Nutrition log
Logged meals (name, grams, calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar, optional local photo, time) and your daily goals stay on the device. Today totals and Goal Hit use those local numbers. Goal Hit appears only when a target is actually met.
What we do not collect in 0.1.0
No account, email signup, analytics, crash reporting, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, or HealthKit. Train, Ideas, and Progress are marked coming soon and do not collect extra data.
Purchases
Optional Fade Premium is a store-managed subscription (product id com.ericscottai.fade.premium.monthly). Apple or Google handle payment, renewal, and Restore. Eric Scott AI LLC does not collect card numbers in the app.
Retention and deletion
Because data is local, uninstalling Fade or clearing the app’s storage may delete photos, meals, and goals. For questions, email ericscott2027@yahoo.com.
Not medical advice
Numbers in this version are for personal tracking. They are not a diagnosis, diet prescription, or treatment. See App terms and App support.
